Dear Friends, Family, Colleagues and Clients:
We hope that this message finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy. Your well-being, and that of all our clients and colleagues, is foremost in our thoughts during this difficult time. The firm is here for you, and our commitment to your case is unwavering. We are still fighting and working hard to win your case.
As the Lee Steinberg Law Firm, P.C. continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 outbreak and its wide-reaching impacts, we share your deep concern for all those impacted by the coronavirus and the healthcare professionals, first responders and public officials working around the clock to care for them.
At present, our firm is open for business and working diligently on our client’s cases. Although our in-house staff has been significantly reduced at this time, and the majority of our lawyers and support staff are being asked to work from home to observe appropriate social distancing protocols, our office continues to attend to the needs of our clients through remote working and communication applications we have installed.
We want to assure you that despite these temporary changes in our lives, we are dedicated to your case and your family. We also need to consider the safety of our employees and their families. All those working on-site and remotely are still available to field questions and are actively working with our team on any matter involving your case that can be achieved at this time.
Should the outbreak necessitate a complete office closure, we have plans in place to provide you with continuous service. If all must work remotely, our attorneys and staff have the tools and technology they need to be responsive to your needs throughout any potential shutdowns or quarantines that might be established.
We are also mindful of disruptions to your daily schedules and households. Please update us if your circumstances have changed or if there is a better way to reach you at this time.
You will receive case specific updates from your attorney as requested. Please email or call your individual attorney as desired.

Listen, there is no reason to delay your case because of what’s been going on with coronavirus at all. We are still open. Our staff is working as hard as we’ve ever worked to move cases along. We’ve been able to resolve and settle a lot of cases in the last couple of weeks, in fact, since this has started. Obviously your medical treatment is going to be limited if not completely cut off now because of access to medical care because of COVID-19. That’s just the unfortunate, horrible realities. We have so many folks who need medical treatment and that can’t get it.
My recommendation is to just do what you can at home once these therapies and once your doctors are available again, hopefully sooner rather than later to go back to treatment if you need it. To go back and explain to them what’s been going on with you. Once you go back to your doctor to explain to them what pain and what discomfort you’ve had over the last few weeks or months and just keep in touch with your doctors during COVID-19 and then of course after this passes, but there is no reason not to continue with your claim. The law hasn’t changed in that respect. Claims are still open, benefits are still payable, and we’re moving on cases along for our clients every day.
