Everyone at the Law Offices of Lee Steinberg, P.C. continues to closely monitor the COVID-19 outbreak and its wide-reaching impacts around the world but also right here at home in Michigan. A State of Emergency is in place and the City of Detroit and Wayne County have been identified by the Centers of Disease Control and Infection as one of the nation’s “hot spots” currently battling the pandemic.
This is why our firm has chosen to lead a Facebook fundraiser for Gleaners Community Food Bank and help provide food to the families of many Michigan communities. We know we share a deep concern for all those impacted, including the families and individuals in need of extra support and resources, the many essential workers and healthcare professionals seeking personal protection equipment, and the first responders and public officials working around the clock to care for our safety.
“Gleaners Food Bank is an essential service provider and working hard to expand its food distribution program during this unprecedented time,” said Eric Steinberg, partner at the Law Office of Lee Steinberg. “Helping provide funding for food that will keep meals on the table of many Michigan families, feed the unemployed and elderly, and stock school food mobiles and emergency food boxes, is of utmost importance right now. We encourage other community businesses and members to join our efforts by donating funds as well.”
