Nissan SUV Collides with Cadillac SUV in Dearborn Resulting in Injury and Death

Early Monday morning, tragedy struck on the Southfield Freeway in Dearborn as a 31-year-old Taylor woman drove the wrong way, causing a head-on collision with another vehicle. The crash occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. when the woman’s Nissan SUV was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes, striking a Cadillac SUV in the process. Sadly, the Taylor woman did not survive the crash, while the driver of the Cadillac SUV, a 31-year-old Redford woman, was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The Michigan State Police are investigating the cause of the accident and are unsure if the at-fault driver was impaired.
