Jeep Gladiator Collides With Multiple Vehicles in Walled Lake Resulting In Death

Tragedy struck in Walled Lake, Michigan when a police pursuit ended in a fatal four-vehicle hit-and-run crash that killed a 13-year-old girl and injured five others on Wednesday. According to reports from the sheriff's office, the accident occurred when a 2023 Jeep Gladiator collided with two other vehicles on Eastbound West Maple Road. The pursuit started after officers attempted to pull over the Jeep for a traffic violation. Sadly, the two occupants of the Jeep fled the scene after the crash. Among those involved in the collision was a 2010 Honda Fit driven by a 51-year-old mother from Commerce Township, who had her two daughters in the car.

The 13-year-old was later pronounced dead at the hospital, while the mother and her other daughter sustained injuries. A recent car crash involving multiple vehicles occurred in Commerce Township, Detroit. One of the vehicles involved was a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Constance Lancenese, a 43-year-old resident of Commerce Township. Lancenese was with her 10-year-old son in the car, and fortunately, both were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident. Although shaken, they were treated and released from the hospital the same night. According to Lancenese, the collision was quite hard but thankfully, they were not hurt. Sadly, the Honda involved in the accident fled the scene. Officials are still investigating and trying to track down the responsible individuals.
