A tragic and fatal incident occurred on a Sunday evening in Romulus, Michigan when a pack of motorcycles were weaving in and out of traffic on the busy I-94 highway and one driver suddenly crashed into a vehicle near Wayne road. The impact sent the individual flying through the air at a high speed, resulting in their death.

Around 9pm, the 32 year old male driver that was killed was speeding when he collided with the back of the other vehicle, resulting in his fatal injuries. The investigation, thankfully, is receiving the full cooperation of the other driver involved in the crash. 

State police identified that the “large group” of motorcycles were being driven at rapid speeds, posing a risk to both themselves and other drivers on the road. 

The sight of large groups of motorcycles speeding down the freeway is common, but it’s important to recognize the risks associated with this behavior. According to the First-Lt. Of the Michigan State Police Mike Shaw, these riders often lack the proper endorsements and are pushing the limits of their abilities on the road. Unfortunately, these mistakes can lead to tragic and preventable accidents.
