The Ann Arbor police are seeking assistance from the public as they investigate a hit-and-run crash that injured a 21-year-old University of Michigan, student. The unfortunate incident occurred on Monday around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection near Catherine Street and Ingalls Street, where the pedestrian was struck while crossing the street. The victim sustained serious injuries to their lower legs and was rushed to U of M Hospital for care. According to local police, a dark gray 2021 Dodge Charger with minor damage to the right front section and missing its left side mirror is suspected in the crime, but no other details have been released yet.
