A Semi Rear Ends Another Small Truck In a Three Truck Accident Resulting in Minor Injuries

Around 3pm, a three-truck collision on I-94 in southwest Michigan on Thursday left motorists shocked and concerned. Eyewitnesses reported that a semi-truck driver crashed into a smaller truck that was in the left lane of the eastbound interstate. The driver of the small truck was immediately pushed into the back of another semi-truck that was in the right lane. The incident happened near Firekeepers Casino. Authorities were called to the scene of the crash, but only minor injuries were reported.

The crash left hazardous material all over the freeway and the entire stretch of road had to be shut down to allow for the cleanup process. Though thankfully, two of the three drivers involved were able to receive treatment for their injuries at Bronson Hospital Battle Creek, police have noted that speed was a significant factor in the accident.
