Ypsilanti Car Accident Lawyers File Lawsuit on behalf of Detroit Area Woman

The Washtenaw car accident lawyers at the Law Offices of Lee Steinberg, P.C. filed a lawsuit in in Washtenaw County on behalf of a woman injured in 2012.  While travelling on eastbound I-94 at Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti, the woman was violently rear-ended by a man driving a sedan as she slowed her vehicle down due to traffic.  Following the initial impact, the woman was forced into a retaining wall.

The man who struck her admitted at the accident scene that he was gawking at another vehicle.  While taking his eyes of the road, the traffic in front of him had slowed.  By the time he looked, it was too late and he did not have enough time to react.

Both vehicles were severely damaged in the wreck.  The woman was taken from the accident scene to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti.  She sustained serious low back injuries that forced her miss a significant amount of work.
