Incident Information

A tragic event occurred in Davison Township on July 15 a little after 8pm, when a fatal motor vehicle crash took place at one of the town’s intersections. The Davison Township Police Department is now conducting an investigation into the incident, trying to piece together what happened that evening at the intersection of North Irish Road and East Potter Road. Preliminary reports indicate that a speeding Jeep Wrangler failed to stop and collided with a Nissan Sentra that was traveling southbound.

The tragic accident left one woman dead and two others injured. The Jeep, driven by a 29-year-old Davison Township woman, was sadly the vehicle that experienced the greatest loss. She was ejected from her car during the crash and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. The Nissan, which was driven by a 37-year-old Farmington Hills woman accompanied by a 38 year old passenger alongside, were also transported to the hospital. Fortunately, both Farmington Hills women were listed as being in good condition.

The authorities are holding back the name of the deceased victim until they can notify the family. The details of the crash are still under investigation, and it’s unclear whether any factors like alcohol or distractions contributed to the accident. Although the outcome is heart-wrenching, it’s crucial to honor and respect the family’s privacy during this time.
